They discuss the incredible power of the equalizer filters of the PEQ1. There are 6 EQ bands in total, as well as a high-pass filter situated at 20hz at 6dB, as well as two and three switch positions for the other 6 bands. Finally, the unit has left and right trim control to makeup any gain lost in the case of substantial mid-cuts. The unit is a stereo unit and was designed as a finishing tool to be used on the two-buss, or in mastering, but can also be used very successfully used on individual instruments.
