[WATCH]: DuraCoat Made Simple

A quick DuraCoat project demonstrating easy application of this user friendly and incredibly durable two-part finish. This project shows application of DuraCoat to a painter's pole antenna mount for portable emergency / portable HAM radio operations. Prepping the project is the most important step of any finishing project. This antenna mount is built from CPVC plastic and stainless steel. Prior to applying the DuraCoat finish, this project was lightly sanded with 400 grit wet-dry sandpaper and cleaned with acetone. The two-part DuraCoat finish is applied in layers allowing the solvents to flash off before recoating that area. Best application is with an airbrush. However, very acceptable results can also be achieved with careful use
