Scarbrough cedar ave house fire By the time firefighters knocked down the second of two fires at the same Scarborough house Sunday afternoon, the brick bungalow was left with hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage and a badly burnt roof. The first fire at the house on Cedar Dr., a residential side street near Eglinton Ave. E. and Markham Rd., began around 10 am on the stove, said District Chief Stephan Powell of Toronto Fire. A single truck went to the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished. The second fire broke out nearly six hours later.
